Theresa “Ms. Reecy” King is a world-renowned Licensed Clinical Cosmetologist and Licensed Instructor in the Beauty Arts. She has been immersed in the beauty industry for over 30 years., achieving the best in multicultural hair. With an extensive background in Beauty Marketing Management and Cosmetology, she launched Ms. Reecy Strandologist Company, a 10 chair pristine salon in 1992, noted for its upscale services and trendsetting makeovers. Requested often by hair industry corporate leaders, Ms. Reecy has developed runway hair shows in New York, Las Vegas, Chicago, California, and Hawaii, as well as instructed in Russia, and designed new facilities nationally. Frequented by Detroit’s elite professionals and international celebrities such as Billy Dee Williams, Martha Reeves, Evette Michelle, and Tommy Hearns, Ms. King has a reputation for exquisite hair weaves and extensions. 

Adamant to make an impact, Theresa strives to assist clients who are experiencing unexpected hair loss. She lovingly pours her heart into comforting survivors of cancer, sufferers from burns, and alopecia with hair services and consultations. Through her work, she regularly assists non-surgical cranial and breast cancer patients with prosthetics, make-up, and skincare. She offers classes covering topics like head wrapping, and wig care, while highlighting the importance of self-love, confidence, and beauty from within.
